Brainlanding · tools for brains that hate planners
The Too Much December Kit: 10 one-page tools for the gifts, the invites, the parties and the day itself. Open the page that matches what December is doing to you. Use it. Put it down. Fewer things, done on time, and permission to skip the rest.
Instant PDF download. Undated, so it works this December and every one after it.
December stacks gifts, food, travel, cards, school events and the office party on top of a normal month, and almost every one of them comes with a date that won't move.
Here's what we think is going on: a date you have to keep in your head is the hardest kind of reminder for an ADHD brain. In a 2014 study, adults with ADHD kept up with cue-based reminders as well as anyone, and struggled much more with time-based ones. December is thirty days of time-based reminders. The kit turns them into things on paper and alarms on your phone.
You didn't fail December. It asked for more than one brain can carry.
Not by date, not by holiday. You ask one question, "what is December doing to me right now", and you open that page. Nothing else in the kit needs your attention.
When it's all too much
Every holiday thing on one page, then a letter next to each one: keep, lite version, or skip this year.
Three things get the full version. Everything else gets lite or nothing, decided once instead of every night.
Short, kind ways to decline an invite, a hosting job or a gift swap, written before anyone asks.
When gifts are the problem
Every person on one page, with three boxes: bought, wrapped, given. One list instead of three apps and two notes.
Start from the day the gift has to be in their hands and count back. Every "buy by" date gets a phone alarm.
The total you choose, written down before you shop, then split per person. The page holds the number for you.
When the calendar is full
When you leave, what you bring, how you get home, and the time you're allowed to go. Filled the day you say yes.
Recovery blocks booked between events, before someone else fills the gap. An empty evening on paper counts as a plan.
The day itself, and after
One job, one quiet spot, one exit signal agreed in advance. On the day you just follow the card.
What worked and what wrecked you, written in January. Next December starts from this page instead of from zero.

Every tool fits on a single sheet. Print the page you need this week and leave the other nine in the file, where they cost you nothing.
Store-bought cookies count. A gift card that arrives on time counts. The kit is built around doing fewer things on purpose, not more things faster.
Undated, so the same pages work this year and next. The last tool turns this season's lessons into next season's starting point.
We're Brainlanding. We make one-page tools for bad days, for the house and for the paperwork. This one is for the loudest month of the year.
Every gift bought on the 23rd was field research. So was the party we said yes to out of guilt and left an hour early, which is where the Event Landing Card came from.

It works for Christmas, and for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year, or the Thanksgiving that kicks the season off. Nothing in the tools assumes one holiday, and there are no dates printed anywhere.
No. Start with the One Gift List and the Day-Of Plan, which take ten minutes each. The rest will still be there next year, and Note to Future Me is built for exactly that.
No, and printing one page is not doing it wrong. That's the design. Most people print the two or three tools that match the week they're having.
The Worst Brain Day Kit is for your day, The Doom Pile Kit for your house and The Life Admin Rescue Kit for the paperwork. This one is for the month that piles all three on top of each other. Same shape, same tone, louder battlefield.
No. It holds a number you choose and doesn't tell you what to spend. The kit isn't medical advice either, and it doesn't diagnose or treat anything.
Digital products are delivered instantly, so once the kit is downloaded we're not able to offer a refund, same as any other instant-download file. If something's actually broken or missing, email us and we'll always sort it out.
